Promoting positive outlook towards learning Mathematics and Science, the Junior High School (JHS) Department conducted the culmination of its MathSci Week 2019 with the theme "Be Reactive. Be Radical. Be Rational" at the St. Martin de Porres Gymbahan today.
It started with their own version of a popular TV show game tagged as "1-2-3 MathSci Go" wherein the students enjoyed the game while recalling essential lessons regarding the said subjects.
Furthermore, students of grades 7 and 8 performed their Math-sayaw which pushed them to integrate Math-related concepts on their dance steps. Also, students from grades 9 and 10 expressed their views about the importance of Science through the Sci-Awit contest.
Moreover, winners on the abovementioned contests as well as in Rubik's cube, Sudoku, poster making and Science Quiz Bee were recognized during the awarding ceremonies.
Meanwhile, JHS officially opened its celebration of the Rosary Month which will be called as Oracion Conectada. In addition, the Performing Arts club performed the Hi Five Para Kay Maria animation song which will be part of the Manaoag Pilgrimage that will happen tomorrow.
